eligibility criteria
- Essential Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant branch of Biological Sciences (minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) with 04 years (Post PG) R&D experience or PhD in relevant branch of Biological Sciences.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with published work/experience in the project area will be given preference.
- Experience: 04 years (Post PG) R&D experience in relevant branch of Biological Sciences for Master degree holders as per essential qualification; Additional experience as per desirable position in the project area will be preferred.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. Rs.42,000 + HRA (9%).
- In case suitable candidate is not available as per required and desirable qualification, the post may be filled from Project Associate-II/Project Associate-I on monthly stipend as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10th July 2020.

- Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the date and time of interview.
- The interview will be conducted in mixed mode (offline/online).
- The decision of the Principal Investigator (PI) in this regard will be final.
General information/instructions
- This post is purely temporary, on annual extension basis, co-expiring with the project period i.e. up to 01.12.2028 or as decided by DBT.
- Selected candidates will not be considered as employees of Mizoram University or DBT and are not entitled to any benefits applicable to the employees of Mizoram University or DBT.
- Selected candidates are required to contribute towards the successful implementation of the project and are not allowed to take up any other employment during their tenure with the project.
- The progress of the employees will be regularly monitored by the PI and the employees will be required to submit monthly progress reports to the PI.
- If the progress of the employees is not satisfactory, their services may be terminated on the recommendation of the PI.
- It is mandatory for the employees to write a research paper on the outcome of the project.
