NIT Calicut Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026
Center for Continuing Education and Skill Development (CCESD), National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC)Under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an official advertisement Apprentice Trainee (Graduate and Diploma) Posts for the year 2026-27.
This engagement is under the provisions of Apprenticeship Act, 1961 for a period of one year. Last date for submission of online application is 12 June 2026.

Eligibility Criteria and Other Conditions
- Only those candidates who have completed their qualifying examination regular candidate and acquired the required qualifications On or after 2022 are eligible.
- Qualification: The qualification must be from a University in India or a State Board recognized by the competent authority.
- Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship training for one year or more in Government/Public/Private Sector as on the date of joining. not eligible. Combining apprenticeship with other institutions is not permitted.
- Selected candidates will have to execute the Contract of Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973.
- Trainees will have No claim for regular employment After completion of training at NIT Calicut.
NIT Calicut Apprentice Selection Method
The evaluation process is as follows:
- Initial Screening: Applications will be scrutinized and shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and/or written examination.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview. Selection will be completely based on educational qualification and eligibility.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must submit all original documents – Date of Birth Proof, Marksheet, Educational Certificate, Caste/Disability Certificate, etc. Failure to submit original documents will result in disqualification.

- Upload copies of your qualification certificate, proof of date of birth and a valid ID proof along with the application.
