General age relaxation rules

• OBC Candidates: Relaxation in upper age limit of UR by 3 years.
• SC/ST Candidates: Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit of UR.
• PWBD(UR): 10 years; PwBD (OBC): 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years. Maximum age limit: 56 years.
• Former serviceman: Relaxation of 5 years, subject to the condition that continuous service rendered after verification as on the closing date should not be less than 6 months.
• Central/UT Government Employees: Up to 5 years, subject to 3 years of continuous regular service in the same line or allied cadre.

UPSC Advertisement No. 07/2026 Application Fee

The application fee for UPSC Advertisement 07/2026 is nominal ₹25 (twenty-five rupees only) For General, OBC and EWS Male candidates. All categories of women candidates as well as SC, ST and candidates with benchmark disability (PWBD) are included. Completely exempted from payment of fee. Selected candidates will get salary as per 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. The pay levels range from Level-7 for posts like Company Prosecutor and Photographic Officer to Level-11 (with NPA) for Medical Specialist Grade III posts. Common Mistakes to Avoid – UPSC Advertisement 07/2026 Application

Given the large number of posts and diverse eligibility conditions in UPSC Advertisement No. 07/2026, there are many common mistakes made by the candidates. Proactively correcting these before the interview stage can prevent direct rejection.
