Assam PSC District Museum Officer Exam Date 2026 Exam on 19 August

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a notification confirming the schedule of Screening Test (OMR based) for recruitment to the post of District Museum Officer, Grade-I (Gazetted) under the Directorate of Museums, Department of Indigenous and Tribal Faith and Culture, Assam. The screening test is scheduled on 19 August 2026 (Wednesday). The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the official website of the Commission (www.apsc.nic.in) on 5 August 2026.

E-Admission Certificate will be uploaded on the official website on 12th August 2026.

Candidates have to download their e-Admission Certificate from www.apsc.nic.in.

The Commission reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any time or stage – even after the examination date – if during verification of the application form it is found that the candidate does not satisfy any of the eligibility criteria or conditions mentioned in the original advertisement (Advertisement No. 34/2025, dated 16 December 2025).

No separate communication letter will be sent by post; Candidates must check the official website for updates.

As per the internal instructions of the Commission, instructions have been given to arrange for videographers at the examination venue on the day of the screening test.

Download e-Admission Certificate from www.apsc.nic.in from 12th August 2026.

Appear for the screening test on 19th August 2026 between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the allotted centre.
