- Ability: Post Graduate Degree (MSc) or PhD with specialization in Genetics and Plant Breeding from an ICAR recognized University/Institute. Candidate should have knowledge/experience of field testing and data collection. Experience in the field of groundnut and pulses research and knowledge of computers will be preferred.

Salary/Stipend
- For PG holder with NET(Consolidated) Rs. Rs.61,000/- + HRA per month
- For PhD holder Rs. Rs.67,000/- + HRA per month (consolidated)

- Walk-in interview scheduled on 08.01.2026 has been postponed to 19-01-2026 at 10.00 am for administrative reasons.
- Interested candidates are requested to appear in the Chamber of the Associate Director of Research, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Tirupati along with their bio-data along with original certificates, publications, theses, proof of date of birth etc.
- They must submit one set of photostat copies of the certificates to this office.
- No TA and DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- The vacancy is for the post of Senior Scientist in Groundnut (P.L.B.R.) and Scientist (P.L.B.R.) in Pulses under Non-Plan in Regional Agricultural Research Station, Tirupati on contract basis.
- Duration: 11 months from the date of joining.
