- Civil Judge (Junior Division): Candidates must have LLB. Degree from a University or College recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years continuous practice as an advocate as on 23-02-2026. It should be attested by a Principal Judicial Officer or a lawyer with more than 10+ years of experience. Experience as a law clerk also counts.
- physical fitness: Candidates should be in good health and free from any disqualifying physical defect.

- Age Relaxation: The upper age limit for General (Male) candidates is 35 years. The maximum age limit for General (Female), EBC, BC, SC, ST, EWS and OH candidates is 40 years.
