- skills required: Master's degree in Law with 55% marks from an Indian University (or equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed), or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) or Ph.D.
- Other eligibility conditions as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- Desirable Qualification: PhD
Salary/Stipend
- For PhD holder – ₹ 42,000/- per month
- For remaining contract teachers – ₹40,000/- per month

- ₹185/- for SC/ST candidates

Application forms received after the prescribed last date will be summarily rejected. Claims made in applications without supporting documents will not be considered. Claims which are not mentioned in the original application submitted will not be considered at any subsequent stage of application processing. Application fee is not refundable.
Appointments, conditions of service, emoluments and other service benefits will be governed by the provisions of KSR, KS&SSR, Act/Statute/Ordinances and Syndicate Decisions of Cochin University of Science and Technology. At the time of appointment, the communal reservation policy will be followed by considering the university departments/centres as one unit.
