Chef : Prepare food as per menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products) and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service requirement.

Steward : Serve food in the officers‟ messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service requirement.

Hygienist : Clean washroom, shower spaces and other areas. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service requirement.

Height (Male) : 157 cms

Height (Female) : 152 cms

Push-Ups (Only For Male) : 12

Squat Ups (Uthak Baithak)- Male : 20

Squat Ups (Uthak Baithak)- Female : 15

Bent Knee Sit-ups (Only For Female) : 10

Run (Male) : 1.6 Kilometer In 6 Min. 30 Sec.

Run (Female) : 1.6 Kilometer In 8 Min.

Candidates can apply Online Only on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 29 May 2023 to 15 June 2023. The procedure is available on Indian Navy official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Candidates are advised to fill up correct details while filling the online application. Any updates/ corrections are to be carried out by the candidate before the last date of submission of application. No further correction/ update is feasible after the last date of submission of application. Incorrect declaration of information by candidates, identified at any stage would result in cancellation of candidature.

Shortlisting : Shortlisting of candidates would be based on aggregate percentage obtained in the qualifying examination (10th). Shortlisting for Agniveer (MR) – male & female will be carried out state wise in a ratio of four times the vacancies. The cut off marks may vary from state to state. The shortlisted candidates shall be issued call-up letter for written examination and PFT. Aadhar Card is mandatory for written examination/ PFT.

Merit List : Merit list will be prepared based on performance in written examination, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test. Merit List for Agniveer (MR) – male candidates will be based on state-wise merit and the cut off marks for issue of call up letter for Recruitment Medical Examination at INS Chilka may vary from state to state. Merit list for Agniveer (MR) – female candidates will be based on all India merit. In case of candidates securing similar cut off marks in Written Examination, the candidate with higher percentage in the qualifying examination i.e 10th will be selected for Recruitment Medical Examination at INS Chilka.

Agniveers will be paid a package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.
