• Group A (10th Class Passed ) :-
• Draftsman (Mechanical) / Electrician / Fitter / Structural Fitter : The candidate should have Passed SSC in with General Science & Mathematics.
  i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG/ AFC,
  ii) Pass Class for SC/ST Only. iii) In case of passing criteria is best of 5 subjects taken,
  iii)General Science & Mathematics Should be the Part of the Qualifying Board Curriculum & Candidate should have passed, Otherwise Application will be rejected.
  iv) Though the qualifying criteria is SSC, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only.
• Pipe Fitter : The candidate should have Passed SSC
  i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General/ OBC/ EWS/ DIVYANG/ AFC
  ii) Pass Class for SC/ST Only.
  iii) Though the qualifying criteria is SSC, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only.
• Group B (I.T.I Passed) :-
• Structural Fitter (Ex. ITI Fitter) / Electrician / ICTSM / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC) / Electronic Mechanic / Pipe Fitter / Welder / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Carpenter : Passed ITI in Fitter / Electrician /ICTSM / Electronic Mechanic/ Plumber / Welder / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Carpenter trades from Govt./ Govt recognized Institute.
• i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG / AFC,
• ii) Only Pass Class for SC/ST. Applicants undergoing their course under semester system are required to pass backlog papers of previous semesters if any & it should be dully certified by Head of the institute.
• * Applicant should have passed ITI in above trades only, however in case of Fitter- Structural trade, applicants belonging to ITI Fitter Trade can apply.
• ** Applications of applicants appearing in the final exam will not be considered.
• Group C (8th Class Passed) :-
• Rigger/ Welder (Gas & Electric) : 8th Std. under (10 + 2) system Passed with Science & Mathematics.
• i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / EWS / DIVYANG / AFC,
• ii) Pass Class for SC/ ST Only.
• Though the qualifying criterion is 8th Std, the candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on 8th Std. qualification only.

 Selection for Apprenticeship will be completed in Three Stages:-

First Stage i.e. Online Examination (Computer based test): – only Eligible Candidates in Group A, B & C will be called for Online Examination (Computer based examination). The Online Examination will consist 100 Number of Multiple Choice questions based on the below mentioned syllabus of Minimum Qualification of respective Groups (i.e. Class 10th Pass for Group A, ITI Pass for Group B & Class 8th Pass for Group C) and Examination will be of 2 Hours duration.

Group A – 10th Class Passed : English & GK – (25 Marks); Physics – (25 Marks); Chemistry – (25 Marks); Mathematics – (25 Marks) | Total No. of Questions – 100

Group B – ITI Passed : English & GK – (25 Marks); Trade Theory – (25 Marks); Workshop Calculation & Science – (25 Marks); Engineering Drawing – (25 Marks) | Total No. of Questions – 100

Group C – 8th Class Passed : English & GK – (25 Marks); Physics – (25 Marks); Chemistry – (25 Marks); Mathematics – (25 Marks) | Total No. of Questions – 100

Second Stage will be of Document Verification & Trade Allotment : For this the candidates securing maximum marks (each Group & Category wise) in Online Exam would only be called for Medical Examination & Document Verification, Schedule for Eligible Candidates in Group A, B & C will be declared with the result of online examination. It is relevant to inform here that the selected candidates will be required to submit their all original documents in regards of Age, Caste, Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate if applicable, for Document Verification, In Absence of Original Documents candidates will not be allowed to attend the Trade Allotment process & their candidature will be rejected immediately & next available candidate in the order of merit will be called.

Trade Allotment : Post documents verification, Shortlisted Applicants of Group A/C will be called (on the same day) in Order of merit marks obtained in the Online Exam for Trade Allotment. At the time of allotment applicant will be informed regarding availability / vacancy of their choice as per group & category wise merit order. In case of absenteeism during Trade Allotment or non-acceptance of available merit seat, candidature will be rejected immediately & next available candidate in the order of merit will be called. Such rejected cases will not be considered again. After selection of the choice by the candidate, he/she will be required to fill Contract Registration in the presence of Mother/ Father and Guardian for joining apprenticeship training. After selection of the available seat of the respective trade, any change in the choice will not be allowed.

Third Stage will be of Medical Examination : Shortlisted Applicants will be required to clear Medical Fitness for joining Apprenticeship Training in accordance with medical fitness standard of Apprentices Rules 1992. The procedure for obtaining medical fitness will be informed to shortlisted candidate at the time of result declaration. However, If any applicant is advised for specialist opinion i.e. X-ray, Blood Test etc., it will be at their cost. Joining for Apprenticeship will be subjected to declaration of fitness by Medical Officer.
