For Registrar Posts-

For Reader (Upacharya) Posts-

• Five years Degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law, or five years Degree from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or any other state Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939.
• Seven years teaching experience of the subject (Five years for a Post Graduate) in a recognized institution.
• Working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit

For Professor (Acharya) Posts-

• Five years Degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law, or five years Degree from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or any other state Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939.

For Lecturer, Sanskrit Posts-

• M.A. in Sanskrit (In first class). Acharya in Vyakaran or Sanskrit Sahitya (In first class).
• Three years teaching experience in recognized institutions.

For Inspector- Government Office Posts-

• Bachelor’s degree of a university established by law in India.
• By direct recruitment through the commission from amongst such permanent Government servants holding ministerial posts in any office under the Government as have put in at least ten years continuous service on such posts. Provided that the persons who have held or may be holding the post of inspector in an officiating or temporary capacity prior to the coming into force of these rules, shall be eligible for appointment to the service.

• Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy with four years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject in a Homoeopathic College of Degree level.
