MSMHA Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Psychiatrist Member:
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Psychiatry from a University recognized by the UGC or National Board of Examination (NBE) or Medical Council of India.
- Minimum 15 years experience in the field.
- Medical Practitioner Member:
- Recognized medical qualification as defined in clause (h) of section 2 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and name entered in the State Medical Register.
- Recognized medical qualification as defined in clause (h) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Indian Medical Central Council Act, 1970, and name registered in the State Register of Indian Medicine.
- Recognized medical qualification as defined in clause (g) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 and name registered in the State Register of Homeopathy.
- Minimum 15 years experience in the field.
- Member:
- A person who lives with a person with a mental illness and is responsible for the person's care (including a relative or another person).
- A person representing an organization of people or caregivers of people with mental illness.
- Representatives of registered NGOs.
- 10 years experience in the field of mental health.
